A Massive Relief
For the last nine months, one client has kept me back late and gotten me up early, for all the right reasons. I love their brand, I respect the people who work for said brand, and I love what they produce. And after a long initial (unsuccessful) pitch, we won their trust and got handed a massive responsibility: launch their newest (yet most iconic) product to their 4th biggest market in a way that changes the industry.
The client was Porsche. The product was the all new 911 Carrera.
And last night, after months of thinking, rethinking, working, reworking, blood, sweat and tears (from a range of incredibly talented coworkers), we did it. There were elements we could have done better (there always are) and we’ll learn these lessons as we move the launch to Hangzhou next week and Shanghai the week after that. But overall, it was a massive success.
And this morning I’m proud of what I do, and gobsmacked by the talented people I get to work with. When we have a video to showcase what we did, I’ll post it on up.
