Here comes the nip tickler

After a week of pure filth, the air finally cleared today. And while the pollution may have been unrelenting (a week of headaches is no fun at all), it did have one saving grace: it kept the air warm.

The cold front that has cleared the skies is my first taste of a real winter: having grown up in Sydney, this cold has been confronting to say the least. I just watched the rugby at an outdoor bar, and with wind chill factored in it couldn’t have been far above 8 degrees. And its only halfway through autumn.

I’m girding my loins, nips and balls in anticipation of a freezing few months.
