I hate adcreep (not as much as this guy, but he literally hates everything): the incessant, sneaky tricks advertisers and media companies use to make sure as much advertising bombards us on a daily basis. But I do like creativity, so this campaign in Japan has me at sixes and sevens.

Some Tokyo subway trains have had their handrails transformed into Star Wars lightsabers as part of an elaborate advertising campaign run by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment Japan.”

So you can see my dilemma - they’ve (we’ve?) found another way to sneak ads under people’s noses - but it’s really cool at the same time. THEY LIGHT UP WHEN YOU PRESS THE BUTTON OH-MY-FUCKING-GOD-I’M-A-FUCKING-JEDI.
