Desire by Ryan Adams (Live at Carnegie Hall).
The biggest thing I learned (and the one thing I want to pass on to the whomever is unlucky enough to learn from me) is the importance of pure, complete simplicity. It's much harder to be simple than to be complex; it's harder to say in few words what can be babbled in dozens. Ryan Adams is a brilliantly simple lyricist, and this could be the best example, stripped bare. This is love, in 50 words or less.
And as a bonus, here's a mindblowing cover of Iron Maiden's "Wasted Years". HOLY MOLY
