This is Bloody Brilliant.
Eleven year old boy with Asperger Syndrome saves his pennies for two years, in order to buy his dream Lego set: the Emerald Night Train Set. Upon reaching his goal, he finds out that the set has been discontinued. Upset, he writes a letter to Lego, who respond with a pleasant yet corporate apology.
Then a few days later, Lego send him the discontinued set in the mail. His parents film his reaction and post the video. Lego receives a massive (and deserved) bump from this simple act of generosity.
Win Win. And all they did was set out to make sure a fan wasn't disappointed.
